Description

Galip nut is an evergreen nut-bearing tree native to Southeast Asia and the Pacific region. Studies on its flowering habit suggest  the tree flowers in response to change in day-length and by as much as six months difference in the start of flowering between trees near the equator and tree at around 10 degrees latitude.
