Yellow pulp beneath thin purple skin, very soft and juicy and of sub-acid, rather pungent flavour.
Sour, slightly resinous flavour. Is commonly between 15 and 20 meters tall in cultivation, occasionally up to 25 meters tall.
Climate: Grows naturally in moderately humid to humid tropical lowland climates, generally in areas with average annual low temperatures of 18 to 25 °C, average annual high temperatures of 27 to 34 °C and annual rainfall of 1200 to 2500 mm, with a dry season of 2 to 6 months.
Growing: Is tolerant of seasonal flooding.
